Only One Perfect Somebody
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward
love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as
some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one
another4and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

D
o not miss God because of disappointment. Do not
allow death, grief, hate, bitterness, and unfulfilled
dreams keep you from seeing God. Instead, let God
seize your eyes so that you will see what He wants you to see.
He calls us to gather in the community of faith to support each
other in times of disappointment. That is the answer to this
whole dilemma for these disciples. My heart breaks when I
see Christians abandon the church or lose focus on the
significance and work of the fellowship.
