God to get the best out of us, He must break us first.
Sometimes He breaks us when we deliberately go our own
way and sin, but other times, He breaks us with trials of His
own making. Nevertheless, all of us who follow Christ will get
broken. It is only then that He can give us away to people in
our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and churches. Yes,
He will! He will give us away so that we can help others.
Heavenly Father, we realize that just like the bread, we must
be broken before You can give us away to a spiritually
starving world. Give us the grace to endure the trials with
patience, and then, when we are ready to minister, stoke our
desire to minister to others. In Jesus9 name, Amen.
