to individuals; He also appeared to large groups, totaling
approximately 500.
Why do we talk about these appearances? It is because
there is no discrepancy between the eyewitness reports. All
the people testified that they saw Him in Jerusalem and
Galilee. He was in the capital city, Jerusalem, walking through
the marketplace, where His followers would be able to identify
Him. Today, although we are not direct eyewitnesses to His
resurrection, we see clear evidence of His work in our own
lives that proves to us He is alive and well.
Heavenly Father, Jesus appeared to many people after His
resurrection, demonstrating in many ways that He was not a
ghost or a hallucination. We are thankful that He has also
appeared in our lives in such powerful ways that we know He
is very alive and well. As we share our experience, we prepare
the hearts of others by melting away their skepticism and
unbelief. In Jesus9 name, Amen.
