the subject remains Jesus. Regarding the resurrection, these
writers wrote about Jesus and recorded at least seven specific
teachings about it over a period of 30 or 40 years, proving the
authenticity of this dramatic event. When we share our faith
with unbelieving skeptics who doubt that Jesus is alive, we
can point them to this incredible truth.
Heavenly Father, we enjoy reading about the different aspects
of Jesus9 character through the eyes of the four writers of the
Gospels. They have provided us with distinctive portraits of
our Lord. At the same time, we recognize that our
understanding of and relationship with Jesus will continue
throughout eternity. We anticipate this with joy. In Jesus9
