Are You in the Picture?
For we are God9s masterpiece. He has created us anew in
Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for
us long ago.

n March of 1990, two men posing as Boston police officers
entered the Boston Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, tied
up the night watchman, and pilfered thirteen masterpieces
painted by artists like Rembrandt, Manet, Degas, and
Johannes Vermeer. It has been identified as the largest art
heist in history. At that time, the art was valued at $500 million.
If you visited the art museum at that time, you would have
seen empty frames where those fine masterpieces once
hung. While touring that very room where those famous
portraits were displayed, I could not resist the urge to put my
face in the big, empty frame. The first thing I wanted to know
was this: Do I look good in that frame?
